Job Description:

AAA Southern Pennsylvania is searching for customer focused Insurance Agents to join our dynamic Insurance Team. Our doors are open to talented sales professionals who are ambitious, demonstrate a strong work ethic, are career driven and have a winning attitude. Description Details:
The Insurance Sales Agent's main duties are to quote and sell personal lines Auto and Home insurance. Prospects will come from a variety of sources including our AAA membership base, walk-ins, phone calls, internet leads, internal employee referrals, as well as agent networking and prospecting. The willingness to prospect, network, close sales, and generate referrals is essential to the job.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Utilize online insurance quoter to provide quotes
  • Determine a client's needs and match those needs with appropriate coverage
  • Complete the sales process by binding coverage and obtaining required signatures
  • Maintain client relations and develop a referral base
  • Close sales and exceed target sales goals

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Insurance industry experience and/or college degree preferred but willing to train the right candidate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be engaging, personable, empathetic
  • Knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and coverage
  • Detail-oriented, organized and excellent time management skills
  • World class customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions and problem solve

AAA Southern Pa is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team in a full-time travel sales position for our York office.  Our travel agents provide professional vacation planning to members and customers.  You’ll promote, sell and secure reservations for a variety of travel services including travel by air, rail or ship, package tours, car rental, hotel and travel insurance.  You will develop and maintain clientele and obtain referrals from existing clientele.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Successful completion of travel school or travel agency experience preferred but not necessary.  Willing to train the right candidate
  • Must be passionate about travel 
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • The willingness to prospect, close sales and generate referrals are essential to the job.
  • Ability to multi-task and posses excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in person, on the telephone and through email

Part Time: Human Resources Assistant - York, PA

AAA Southern Pennsylvania is searching for a Part Time Human Resources Assistant reporting to the Human Resources Manager.

Job Description:

The HR Assistant is a hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to our front line employees.  The role is critical in providing great internal customer support and driving HR process improvement.  Successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assist internal customers with benefits and new hire orientation
  • Assist with recruiting
  • Organize all HR department records and employment files
  • Maintain HR spreadsheets
  • Assist with any HR department administrative tasks
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Previous experience with Payroll Systems (ADP a plus)
  • 3+ years’ exposure to the human recourses functions
  • Associates Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Human Resources training and experience desired.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
  • Detail oriented and excellent organization skills:  accuracy is essential
