Beware of Heatstroke

With the warm weather we’re experiencing this summer, temperatures inside a car can quickly rise to dangerous levels, even on milder days. To prevent heatstroke, remember to ACT:

A – Avoid heat stroke-related injury and death by never leaving your child or pet in a vehicle, even for a minute.

C – Create habits and reminders. Example: Leave an item in your back seat that you need at your next stop so you don’t forget your loved one.

T – Take action if you see an unattended child or pet in a vehicle. Call 911 and follow the dispatcher’s instructions.
