From AAA Travel Experts for your Walt Disney World®  Resort Vacation

When visiting Walt Disney World, there are a lot of things to consider that can save you time, money and improve the quality of your vacation.

DINING RESERVATIONS
Some dining experiences, such as Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table, fill up weeks early, so if there is a restaurant you are interested in experiencing, make reservations as soon as possible. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. If you can’t pre-plan, try the restaurants around off-peak times - such as 11:30 am for lunch or 3:30 pm for dinner.

BEST TIME TO VISIT
The summer months are usually the busiest at the Parks because of schools’ summer break. If your schedule allows, September is a great time to visit - the weather is still warm, prices may be a bit cheaper, and if kids need to miss school, they shouldn’t be too deep into their curriculum just yet.

A LITTLE BIT OF PIXIE DUST
A hidden gem you may not be aware of is that you can get a sprinkling of pixie dust for free at the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A.! If they are busy, they may not be able to accommodate you, but if you stop by first thing in the morning, you may have a better chance at getting a free dusting.

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES
If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, stop by the front desk and request a celebratory button for whatever you’re celebrating: birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, family reunion, or your first visit. You can also pick these up at Guest Relations if you are staying off-resort. You’ll feel extra special walking around the parks.

CHARACTER MEET & GREETS
Save a little time by booking Characters Meals. You’ll typically meet multiple characters at one time and you won’t have to wait in a long line.

DISNEY FASTPASS+
Disney FastPass+ service allows you to reserve access to select Walt Disney World theme park attractions, entertainment, and Character Greetings in advance. For a greater range of options, it’s best to choose your Disney FastPass+ selections early. If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can begin making your Disney FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to your date. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can start your selections 30 days in advance.

Valid Theme Park admission and online registration required. Disney FastPass+ attractions and experiences, the number of selections you can make, and available arrival windows are limited.
